Charles R. Brigance, Jr., P.E.
Mr. Brigance began his engineering career in 1983 as a Staff Engineer/Design Engineer with Jeryl Hart Engineers in Austin, Texas. Charles joined Carlson Engineering & Associates in 1986 as a Design Engineer and Project Manager. He became a co-owner and principal in 1991, and assumed the position of President of the firm.
Charles has over 45 years of civil engineering experience, including design of water and wastewater systems, drainage facilities/ structures, flood control ponds, water quality ponds, grading and erosion control plans, traffic control plans, and land planning
Mr. Brigance manages the planning, design, permitting and construction of civil infrastructure in the general Austin area totaling $10 to 20 million annually.
He currently works in every phase of civil engineering work completed by the firm, from design to management, staff training and development, client relations, and business development.
Charles is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas. He received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 1983.
